Your account
Apple or Google supplies the account information you approve during sign-in. Verified Supabase sessions provide access to included AI, account sync and managed personal memory. Reading and device notebooks can be used without enabling cloud sync.
AI questions and providers
Send shares your question, supplied Scripture and recent conversation with your selected AI service. Meaning-based passage lookup sends the question separately before the answer. Personal notes are not included automatically. Included Bible Night AI uses a single app connection through its Supabase gateway, with open models on a verified Groq Free plan, free Z.AI picture understanding, and fixed free OpenRouter fallbacks. Provider capacity and usage limits apply. Model providers may retain requests under their own data policies. Provider policies apply. Avoid sending sensitive personal information. Your own connections use the provider you select and its data and billing policies.
Attachments and voice notes
PDF text extraction, picture compression and voice transcription run on-device. Review attachments before Send. The selected AI service receives extracted text and up to three recent compressed pictures; original files and picture location metadata are not uploaded. Attachment content is not added to passage lookup or personal-memory queries. Voice transcription requires speech permission and a supported on-device language. Bible Night does not record audio or request microphone access in this version.
Conversation and optional memory
New chats use session-only context by default. Earlier saved conversations remain a separate read-only archive. Personal memory is optional. Recalled entries are shared with the selected AI service. You can inspect, correct, export or forget entries, and separately choose whether to retain questions. Independent memory providers follow their own controls.
Notebooks, highlights and handwriting
Device notebooks and highlights stay local by default. Account sync is optional and uploads the account notebook, highlights and handwriting to Supabase. Device notes upload only through the explicit copy action. Signing out hides account libraries and preserves device notebooks.
Credentials, usage and diagnostics
Personal provider keys stay in this device’s Keychain and are not synced with notebooks. Included-service credentials remain on the server. The gateway stores account-linked request status, model and token counts to enforce limits. It removes usage older than 30 calendar days during subsequent quota reservations. Application diagnostics contain fixed failure metadata rather than questions or answers. Service providers may process their own operational logs under their policies. Firebase Analytics collection is deactivated in this version.
Deleting data
Use Delete account in Settings to remove account cloud data and the account’s local connections, conversations, highlights and notebook caches. Device-local notebooks and unassigned earlier history remain. The anonymous daily usage counter remains after account deletion. Exported copies and information already sent to independent AI or memory providers follow their own controls; deleting your Bible Night account does not delete those copies.
